A contract worth Dh5 billion has been awarded to Nakheel for villas on Palm Jebel Ali

Nakheel has awarded three more contracts worth more than Dh5 billion to build the opulent villas on the first six fronds at Palm Jebel Ali, just days after awarding a Dh800 million contract for marine works. These projects are expected to be finished by the end of 2026.

The contracts were given to Ginco General Contracting, Shapoorji Pallonji Mideast, and United Engineering Construction Company.

The scope of work includes constructing 723 Beach Collection and Coral Collection villas with exclusive beach frontage across six fronds, as well as public spaces and infrastructure inside those fronds on the second Palm.

There are 184 villas with seven bedrooms in the Coral Collection and 539 villas with five or six bedrooms in the Beach Collection. There are eight distinct architectural styles available for the Beach Collection villas and eight different styles available for the Coral Collection villas. The built-up area ranges from 8,000 to 15,000 square feet.

A road network will be built alongside the housing development in line with the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan, “all designed to elevate the community living experience for residents, families, and visitors.”

There will be more than 90 kilometers of shoreline, 16 fronds, and a total length of 13.4 kilometers for the seven islands that make up Palm Jebel Ali.

Who’s building what

On Fronds O and P, Ginco General Contracting will deliver 197 villas.

275 villas will be constructed by Shapoorji Pallonji Mideast on Fronds M and N.

251 villas will be constructed by UNEC as part of the development of Fronds K and L.
